The Balearics in Manchester

As we enter April the Balearic event in Manchester is getting closer. The opening on 1st May at 6pm will launch us into 3 days of festivities and entertainment. A celebration of the Islands of Majorca, Minorca, Ibiza and Formentera takes place on Albert Square 1st May to the 4th May 2009.

It is all for free so all you need to worry about is enjoying yourselves. We have music, entertainment, horses, parades, fire displays, food and drink, arts and crafts held under the shadow of the beautiful Town Hall. We are praying for good weather but a bit of rain won’t stop us because we are building a huge transparent marquee to accommodate everything. Nothing's going to spoil the fun!

The event is family friendly with things to do and see for all ages. If you are looking for something great to do on May bank holiday why not come and join us. Put the dates in your diary and we’ll see you there. It will be open Friday 1st May 6-9pm, then Saturday 2nd May and Sunday 3rd May from 11am-11pm and on Monday 4th May from 11am-5pm. See you there.
