The Balearic Islands
Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera make up the Balearic Islands, located off the east coast of mainland Spain in the Mediterranean Sea.
Competition
Take a picture and win. We are giving away prizes for the best picture taken over the bank holiday event in Albert Square. The winner's picture will best reflect the Islands and the festival. Simply take a picture and we'll pick out a winner and runners up. | 1st Prize | Experience the Islands for yourself with a trip to any of the 4 Islands, Majorca, Minorca, Ibiza or Formentera during Jun or July 2009. The prize is for 2 people to spend a week on one of the magical Islands including flights and hotel. |
| 2nd Prize | Enjoy the taste of the Islands with a food and wine hamper from the Islands |
| 3rd Prize | Balearic caps, T shirts, flip flops, mugs, pens |

- The competition is restricted to applicants who are residents in the UK.
- For any person under the age of 16, written permission from parent/guardian may be requested.
- Photographs must be your own work and should not have won previous competitions or have been published elsewhere.
- You may not enter images that you do not own the copyright to.
- No responsibility is accepted for ineligible entries.
- Entrants are limited to 3 photographs per submission.
- By submitting an entry you are giving the rights to use, distribute and publicise your photograph freely in various media.
- By entering this competition you are accepting these rules and agree to be bound by them.
- We reserve the right to alter the rules of this competition if we deem it necessary.
